OOTD: America’s Next Top Model

I could never be on America’s Next Top Model.   Mostly cause I’m too short.  Oh and I’m way too old.  I need to be more aware when I take photos of the lighting and of the clothes themselves.  I should have adjusted my shirt and pants.  Or not even do the one leg pose. And find better lighting.

This is stuff I should know. I should add that those pants are one size smaller than what I normally wear and they were still too big.

Necklace: Macy's/Shirt: Old Navy/ Sweater: Lane Bryant/ Pants:Avenue/ Shoes: Payless

They were too long but I flipped up the cuff and made it work.  I love the mixed prints of the sweater and the pants.  Such a fabulous contrast.

Shakeup at America’s Next Top Model

Get your last look at Nigel Barker, Mr. J (Jay Manuel) and Miss Jay (J. Alexander) because they will not be on season 19 of America’s Next Top Model.

Tyra wrote on Facebook regarding the shakeup at ANTM: "To my Nigel Barker, Miss J, and Mr. Jay: Thank you for all of our years together on America's Next Top Model. Working with you is always an absolute pleasure. Excited for what the future holds for us."
All three have been on the show since the start in 1993.

Pop Culture Fashionista or Faux Fashionista: Eva Marcille

We all remember Eva Marcille as the winner of America’s Next Top Model season 3.  Whenever a challenge came at Eva, she worked it.  Every single one of those other models hated on Eva, but guess who came out on top?
 YES, Eva the Diva.

Anyway….
Eva was spotted at Niecy Nash’s wedding this past weekend rocking a white tuxedo to the wedding.  Eva the Diva is looking *Miss Jay voice* FIERCE!  Eva has been out and about lately and I love seeing her fashion.  Work it gurl!
What do you think?

A change is gonna come for America’s Next Top Model!

A change is gonna come for America’s Next Top Model!

America’s Next Top Model is gearing up for its 15th season and from the looks of things, a big change is coming. One of the changes is that the winner will not appear in the pages of Seventeen magazines anymore, they will grace the pages of Vogue Italia and Beauty in Vogue. This is a huge step up for the next winner. Another change is the guest judges that will be alongside Andre Leon Talley and Nigel Barker. Diane Von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli, and Zac Posen will be along for the ride. With these changes, ANTM is hoping that critics will be less harsh on saying how gimmicky the show is and focus on creating and discovering a high fashion top model.
