Pop Culture Fashionista or Faux Fashionista: Solange Knowles

While Beyoncé may be the queen diva of music, her little sister Solange is becoming the grand diva of fashion.    Solange rocked a purple Ferragamo blazer, red pants, a printed shirt and sandals at the relaunching of the Ferragamo Fifth Avenue flagship store .  She completed the look with her signature super huge afro.

Y'all know I already love this look… what do you think?

Pop Fashionista or Faux Fashionista: Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning dazzled at the 23rd GLAAD Media Awards in New York City in a cream and gold vintage Halston gown. Fanning glowed in the lovely floor length beaded gown accented with Manolo Blahnik gold heels and a Ferragamo clutch.

I'm not digging the way she is standing, but she still looks fab.

September Birchbox

The September Birchbox is a bit... um…

There is a sample of Ahava Mineral Hand Cream which is ok so far but a full bottle costs twenty dollars.  I don’t know if it’s that great of a lotion for the price.

I’m actually excited to try the blinc Mascara.  I want to see if it’s worth the twenty- four dollar price tag.

Incoco Nail Polish Applique… hmmm we shall see how this stuff works out on my nails.  I can hardly keep a manicure straight for more than two days.

There is a sample of Jouer Lip Enhancer. I really don’t need that

The best thing in the box is the sample of the Salvatore Ferragamo Attimo L’Eau Florale perfume.  It smells so wonderful and sexy.

The extra piece is the Lash Card.  You use it when you are putting on your mascara so it won’t get on the eyelids. Hmmm.

There is also a friendship bracelet that’s in here. It’s actually kind of cute and I can’t wait to wear it.
