Kim Kardashian isn't even divorced yet...
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting! The family confirms that Kim is about 12 weeks along. Kanye was more than happy to announce the news at his concert last night.
You know who else was excited? Kris Jenner. Pimpin ain't easy, is it now Kris?

Oh Birchbox!
I came really close to dropping my Birchbox subscription. I was disappointed by the lateness of the boxes
and just the overall products in the box. The breaking point came with the Goop
themed box. Don’t get me wrong, I love Gwyneth
Paltrow and her acting, but the bougieness of the Goop box was just too dang
much. I canceled my subscription the day
after but something told I should renew my subscription. Eventually I did renew in time for the November
box and I was very pleased.
In the November box:
·
Kerastase/ Chroma Sensitive (sample size)
·
MCMC Fragrances/ Phoenix (sample size)
·
ModelCo/ Fibre Lashxtend Lengthening Mascara
(full size)
·
One Love Organics/ Aromatic Body Serum (sample
size)
I was most excited about the ModelCo Lengthening
Mascara. I have non-existent lashes and I
hope this will boost them to the next level.
The Kerastase hair care line has been something I’ve always wanted to
try and now here is the perfect chance.
There was a bonus “Lifestyle Extra” in the box, Chuao Chocolatier. It was aight. Nothing special about some dark
chocolate.

Black Friday Hell
Hi, my name is lalaG and I’m a shopping addict. I really have no reason to go out for shopping on black Friday other than getting stuff for
myself. I buy online for my family. I
shop for mostly clothes because I am not planning on standing in line in front
of Best Buy for a week for a $200 dollar television. My Aunt Kathy and I had a game plan: Macy’s,
Old Navy at midnight, and JCPenneys at 6 am over in the North East Mall area in
Hurst. We left my house at 11:30
foolishly thinking that there wouldn’t be a line at Macy’s and we were wrong.
CHAOS! There were people at every
entrance!
They let us in at midnight and there was some fools that
started running… and thought it was funny.
It was young girls mostly. SMH.
There really wasn’t much on sale with the clothes, very
disappointing. My Aunt scored a pair of
Levi’s and I found a pair of blue print lace pants on sale. I get to the counter and I present my
coupon. I don’t get a discount because
of the Levi’s and because my pants weren’t 25 dollars or more. Pissed wasn’t even
the word. I tried to return the jeans
and for some reason couldn’t so I had to come back and return them.
Next on the list was Old Navy. I knew it would be crowded but I wasn’t ready
for this…
The line was wrapped around the building. The line went past five stores. No.
the lines at Old Navy. No, just no. |
We left in the morning for JCPenneys at 5:30 am and when we
got there was plenty of spaces available on the side we parked on. There was a line but not that bad. The doors opened at 6 am and when we walked
in, chaos ensued. The escalator that
goes down wasn’t on so people were running up the opposite way. I secretly wished that it would turn on and
those people would get screwed. We made
our way to the second floor of where the clothing was and it was calm. Mostly because there wasn’t that many sales
in the clothing depart ment. People were
there for eight dollar crockpots and griddles.
There was a fight that almost broke out over pillows. Yes I said pillows. We were at home by 7:30 am; the lines were
LONG because they have gotten rid of so many cash registers.
running up the escalator... that's supposed to go down... |
We did go to Old Navy on the day of Thanksgiving. It was buy
one get one free, even for the items that were discounted.

I don’t think I can do that ever again.

Outfit of the Day: Thanksgiving Edition
I had a purpose this year.
Not to eat too much of the stuffing and that mission was
accomplished. I can’t say the same for
the turkey. My goal wasn’t to look cute
at Thanksgiving; my goal was to be comfortable.
Mission accomplished.
Purse: Juicy Couture (Thrifted)/ Converse: JCPenneys |
White shirt: Old Navy/ Madonna Tee: Old Navy/ Jeans: Macy's |

Project Runway All Stars Season 2 Ep 3
I have been in no rush to write this. This season has been such a bore. I need for the drama to be stepped up. I will say this; the clothes have been pretty
awesome to look at. I can’t wait to see what
else is up the designers’ sleeves.
Carolyn meets the designers over in Long Island City where
they meet at a building that is covered in aerosol art or also known as graffiti. The challenge is to create wearable
art. The designers get a crate of spray
paint and 7 yards of either cotton or chiffon.
They also get 50 dollars for anything else they might need at Mood. The judges are looking for something that
will look good in an art gallery as it would on the runway.
So far some of the prints look pretty cool. Let’s see what they do with them.
Kanye… yours is a hot ass mess. I hope you can pull it all together.
Today’s guest judges are Jeffery Costello and Robert
Tagliapietra, fashion designers.
That bow on Andre’s dress, no.
I understand what Kanye was trying to do with his dress, but
I don’t think he pulled it off in the way he wanted it to go.
Emilio’s is a piece that you could rock anytime, anywhere.
FAB.
Anthony Ryan, Emilio and Ivy are in the top. I’m still trying to figure out why Ivy is in
the top three.
Laura Kathleen, Suede, and Kayne are in the bottom three.
Emilio is this week’s winner. SN: Amena (sp?) from America’s Next Top model
is on here… lookin fab.
Suede is out!
I NEED SOME DRAMA!

The things we do…
It’s been a rough couple of weeks and I know I haven’t havent rough couple of weeks and i been
posting like I should but thank you for sticking around and reading.
To get my mind off of things, we headed over to North East
Mall and planned on doing some window shopping.
We started off in Nordstrom’s because they have the best parking and the
best shoe selection. I fell in love with
this buttery smooth leather jacket, but due to the cost being $650; it was not
mine to have today. Forever 21 was a bust and so was Dillard’s.
We strolled on down to Macy’s. They were having the biggest sale of the
season so why not check it out? Cruised
the shoe section, it was a miss. We decided
to check out the plus size section thinking I wouldn’t be able to find anything. There were tons of sales racks but nothing
caught my eye. I rounded the corner
seeing if there was anything in the American Rag section that might be
appealing and I missed the sign saying $24.99 for Seven 7 Jeans. Yes those same Seven 7 Jeans that starts off
at $79.99 and go up from there. Uh yea. I grabbed a pair and went and tried them on
and the size I picked was too big!
SCORE! I tried on a smaller size and they fit perfectly. I tried on at least every color that they
had, except the baroque pair cause they didn’t have it in my size! I think I did
pretty well since I saved $140 bucks.
They are blue, but they look black in pics. |
I couldn't decide between these and the red and black. |

World War Z
There are a few things I’m not here for. Zombie movies. NOT AT ALL, except for Shaun of the
Dead. That shit was funny. I don’t watch
most horror movies, and zombie movies just freak me out. I’m also not here for Brad Pitt. I just think
the guy is just too into himself since he got with Angelina. I’m team Jennifer for life… Anyway, I was checking
out some other websites and I got a chance to look at the trailer for World War
Z.
Well played Mr. Pitt, well played.

Project Runway All Stars Season 2 Ep 2
So far season 2 of All Stars is kind of a bust. I do expect it to pick up some steam when
there are less and less designers, or so I hope.
Peach was out and I really don’t see why she was even back
on the all-stars show. At the beginning of
the episodes, the designers and Carolyn meet up with Stefani Greenfield, CCO of
the Jones group at thy Nine West showroom.
She tells the designer that they have to create an evening outfit based
on the 70’s/disco era. The designers’
pick out a shoe that is to be worn by the model in the challenge. All the shoes
are platform heels or wedges in every color and pattern there is. The winning designer will also be featured in
the fall Nine West ad with their design.
Wendy’s design… lord those pants.
Wendy and Josh start dancing. Shit was fun nay
When the designers get back to the hotel, they have a
special video message from Karl Lagerfeld.
It was cute.
Special guest judge is creative director of Nine West
Handbags, Rafe Totengco.
Wendy’s design looked like Jamie Lee Curtis in Trading
Places.
Ivy, Uli, Casanova are in the top but Uli is the only that
they really liked.
Wendy, Andre and Kanye are in the bottom.
The winner of the challenge is Uli!
The designer that goes home is Wendy.

OOTD: UnBirthday
Sometime last month I turned 35. I should have been celebrating and I really
tried to but for reasons beyond my control, I really couldn’t. My lovely friend, the French wanted to take me
out to lunch for my birthday and who am I to say no?
Sweater: Lane Bryant/ Tunic: Macy's/ Leggings: Macy's (I think)/ Sneaker Wedges: JcPenney |
I dont understand why the shoes look so blurry... |
Closeup of the shoes... Photobombed by CoCo. |
I don’t even want to mention the name of the place because
we had some horrible service and I pretty much never want to go back there
again. We had to complain to a manager
he refunded us for everything.
Maybe I’ll celebrate in November.

Project Runway All Stars Season 2, Episode 1
Are you excited as I am about the second season of Project
Runway All Stars? (I know im late with this post....) After a very disappointing
season ten of Project Runway, previous designers are coming back to prove once
and for all that they are the best designer. The cast includes:
Wendy Pepper (Season 1)
Andrae Gonzalo (Season 2)
Kayne Gillaspie (Season 3)
Uli Herzner (Season 3)
Suede Baum (Season 5)
Althea Harper (Season 6)
Emilio Sosa (Season 7)
Peach Carr (Season 8)
Ivy Higa (Season 8)
Casanova (Season 8)
Anthony Ryan Auld (Season 9)
Laura Kathleen Planck (Season 9)
Joshua McKinley (Season 9)
Oh Project Runway, you had me at Wendy Pepper and trust and
believe she is still a bitch. Supermodel
Carolyn Murphy is replacing the boring Angela Lindvall as host. Thank you sweet baby Jesus.
Carolyn comes out and explains the rules and the prizes to
the designers. The winner gets to go to
every fashion week in every city around the world… SwEET! The total amount of prizes is over a quarter
million dollars.
The designers go to meet Joanna Cole and they find out that
the first challenge is a group challenge.
Wendy was picked last. AWESOMENESS.
The theme of the challenge is attitude.
The designers will have to create a piece that has to deal with an
attitude and it has to be cohesive with everyone else’s designs. Oh the clashing of the personalities.
Casanova has taken some English lessons? You can actually understand him.
Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman (Co-founder of Marchesa)
are back as judges and the guest judges are Rachel Roy and Project Runway All
Star season 1 winner, Mondo Guerra.
Team Bold, I am not impressed by your designs.
Joshua wants to be Tom Ford.
I like Team Confidant’s
choice of leather and lace.
Team Confidant is the winner of the two.
Casanova, Ivy and Anthony Ryan are in the top three.
Peach, Suede and Andre are in the bottom.
Anthony Ryan is the winner of the challenge. The designer that goes home is Peach. Her design was all over the place and was
just a mess.

Project Runway Season 10 Series Finale
Even though I am very disappointed in this season, I am
still holding on to see if either Christopher or Dmitry wins season 10 of
Project Runway.
Christopher is a complainer.
Within the first 20 minutes, ill I have heard is bitch and moan.
Some of the designers are making more pieces because of the
harsh criticism from the judges. The
designers get a chance to go back to Mood with a budget of 300 dollars.
Fabio’s collection is growing on me since he thought about
everything after meeting with the judges.
Fabio and Dmitry are finished.
Melissa and Christopher are running around like chickens with their
heads chopped off.
The special guest judge is Jennifer Hudson.
I love when Tim gets a lil bit misty eyed.
Christopher goes first and I must admit I do love the
leather pieces in his collection and the print pieces. The final dress should have been worked out
a little bit better. The model could
hardly walk.
Melissa is next she also had some very well worked leather pieces.
One could really tell that this collection belongs to her. That white dress should have been fixed at
the bottom, Another issue with the model not being able to walk because of some
technical difficulties.
Dmitry starts off with an amazing cut out dress. It looks like the dress is in pieces and
magically staying in place on her.
Dmitry’s models walk kinda funny, well the first two did
.
Fabio rounds out the foursome and after seeing his
collection as a whole, I understand it more, very light and flowy, slightly
futuristic. There are pieces around the
neck and collar that to me look plastic and cheap.
And the winner is… Dmitry!
If you didn’t know, there is a season 2 of Project Runway
All Stars. I have a feeling this will be
ten times better than season 10 of Project Runway.

Project Runway Season 10 Episode 13
Just like you, I am still in shock over Sonjia not making it
to the final four. With the final four, that’s
not even final. In boring Project Runway
tradition, only three of the four designers are going to fashion week. In order to make it to the final three, the
designers have to show three looks and then the judges will narrow it down from
there. How many seasons has this
happened before?
The designers get nine thousand dollars and five weeks to
create the collection. Isn’t this a much
shorter time than usual?
Of course this is the episode where Tim goes to the designers’
homes and sees what they created. First
person that Tim goes and visits is Christopher in Massapequa, NY. Let me just add that Tim looks ever so
dashing. Christopher has ton of work
done. Christopher inspiration comes from
an x-ray from his mother after she was in an accident. I LOVE IT.
It’s actually a print he created and it’s amazing. My fave part of these
episodes is when Tim interacts with the family.
It is great to see how he just blends and they just accept him with no
qualms.
Next up is Fabio in New York City (or so I think, they never
gave a location or I just missed it cause I really don’t care for him.) They meet the family and I love Fabio’s mom
and her thick Brazilian accent. She is
so stinking cute! Fabio’s collection is
Cosmic Tribalism? I will say that I love
the shapes, the draping is amazing. The colors
I could do without. They are so pastelly
and the shoes that he wants to put with them… so freaking clunky.
Tim goes to Jersey City to see how Dmitry is doing. Dmitry’s pieces are so structured and just
simple yet amazing. He does have a few
pieces that because of color choices, it might throw you off. Dmitry goes into his back story and Tim gets
emotional and I love it! Dmitry is so talented. If he doesn’t make it to the final three, I would
be so shocked.
Lastly, Tim goes to San Francisco to visit Melissa. Melissa
shows Time this jacket which is to die for.
This has shocked me. She has a
great collection that is much unexpected from Melissa. I think she would be a great choice to be in
the final three.
The designers come back to New York City to a new work room
and the critique everyone else’s work.
Christopher is so dang catty. Tim
comes in to inform the designers that tomorrow they go in front of the judges
with three looks. Melissa starts to
doubt herself. Fabio does some changes
to his collection but Tim still has some hesitation about it. The judges could
either love it or hate it. Christopher doesn’t
know what to show. Dmitry isn’t going to
use any other colors other than black and white which concerns Tim.
Fabio is first on the chopping block. The judges love his collection, well Nina not
so much. Nina wants some sophistication
in his collection. Dmitry is second on the block. The only problem is with his styling, there
were something’s that shouldn’t have been paired together. Heidi loves Christopher’s
collection, but she wants a wow piece and calls part of it boring. Nina thinks his collection is gonna be
hoochie. HA!
Melissa is the final designer that the judges grill. The judges feel that the collection is very “Melissa,”
but it doesn’t knock them off their feet.
When the judges discuss the contestants, they GRILL them. Its
hella funny.
They all go to fashion week.
THIS SEASON BLOWS.

Project Runway Season 10 Episode 12
Elena was kicked off of last week’s episode, further proving
that they keep certain people around for ratings. While she designed something great in the
toddler’s clothing challenge, compared to everyone else’s, it was not that
great. I thought Melissa should have gone home, but that’s
just me.
We are down to the final five and we are about to find out
which three contestants are going to fashion week. Heidi comes out on the
runway with some peach/gold mini outfit with cutout sleeves? WTF? Random, I know.
The designers are taken out to Oheka castle where Tim and
consulting makeup artist for L’Oreal Paris, Billy B are waiting for them to
tell them about the challenge. There are
brought to the surroundings to help them inspire for the creations. The challenge is to create an Avant-guard look
inspired by L’Oreal makeup. The designers
have two days for this challenge and determines who goes to fashion week.
Fabio’s creation makes Tim sad.
Sonjia gets the truth from Tim. Tim feels like that she hasn’t giving 100%
Tim is questioning Christopher… and he needs too.
The overall consensus is that the work being created, they aren’t
Avant-guard.
Here is what I have noticed about Project Runway… always on
the next to last episode before fashion week, the designers seem to fall apart
and not create the best that they can. They
seem to fall apart.
Today’s guest judge is Zoe Saldana. All Zoe is doing is agreeing with the other
judges. BRING SOMETHING NEW TO THE
TABLE.
This episode was boring.
When the judges started to critique the designers and their work,
I fast forwarded through most of it.
Christopher is the first designer told that he is going to
fashion week. Next Dmitry and he was
also the winner of this challenge.
Let me just say, I knew those two were going to fashion week.
In a shocking turn of events, Melissa is going to fashion
week. *insert side eye*
FABIO IS IN! THIS IS BULLSHIT. SONJIA IS OUT?
This is the worst season ever.

Project Runway Season 10 Ep 11
Hallelujah! Ven was kicked off. I really don’t need to explain why. I will say this, he is very talented but we only got to see so much of him and it was all the same. He couldn’t show that he could create more than just origami.
The designers start off at Babies ‘R Us and Heidi tells the designers that they are to create a look for her line a boy or a girl look. There will be two winners, a boy look and a girl look.., I have a feeling this will be one of the best/worst challenges ever!
After the consultation with the parents of the children they are making clothes for, the designers go back to the work room and there is a little baby mannequin on each of the workstations. There are also babies. You know those babies that they give you in High School that cry and you have to feed and change diapers. Yea.
Elena looks like she is gonna die. This crying baby crap is annoying the crap out of me and I ain’t even on the show.
Heidi comes in and goes to each of the designers and critiques the looks. Of course this is Project Runway and Heidi throws in a twist. The designers have to create a companion look for the mother of the child.
Christopher has got the worse client ever. She thinks she is the fashion goddess of the world. Bougie ass.
The guest judge is Hilary Duff.
All the judges had something nice to say about the outfits. There were a few missteps.
A very boring episode towards the end.
Please stop using the word whimsical. Sonjia and Christopher won for their looks. Not surprising.

Project Runway Season 10 Ep 10
Yes I know, I am such a bad blogger. All I can say is, life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.
On episode 9, Gunnar was kicked off! I know, that’s the same reaction that I had. As much I didn’t like him in the beginning, the kid started to grow on me. He is a great designer and he should still be on there. I do believe and I know others believe the way I do; Ven should have been kicked off this episode. I’m guessing they still want him there for the drama. Whatever.
The designers are meeting Tim at Radio City Music Hall to find out about the challenge. Tim is on stage with the Rockettes and at the end Heidi comes out to tell them about the challenge and does a few kicks with the ladies. The challenge, design a costume for the Rockettes and the winner’s piece will be worn in a future Rockette show.
Who knew Dmitry was a profession ballroom dancer at one time?
The meltdowns begin before we even leave Mood.
Elena apologized for being a bitch. Ven started opening up over wine.
Back at Parsons, Sonjia starts to have a breakdown, again. Elena’s design looks like something between a super hero’s costume and an ice skaters dress.
that shit was funny |
“Yea, Yea. Bitchslap that bitch,” said ever so awesomely by Tim Gunn.
Tim brings out a surprise for everyone. This statement that I’m about to say is in no way how Tim said it, it is my interpreted. Basically Tim told everyone that you guys need the help of Jesus for these designs and since you aint getting him, I shall step in. Each designer got an additional $100 dollars and 15 minutes to go back into Mood and get what they needed. A few designers opted out of not going to Mood and getting additional items. When Ven says he isn’t going, the whole room cringes cause his design looks like crapola.
Sonjia’s significant other is hot!
Ven’s costume/design looks just like a dress. There is nothing impressive about it.
Tonight’s guest judge is Debra Messing. I’m guessing that they couldn’t find anyone else. Or cause she is on that show Smash.
Fabio is safe.
Sonjia’s outfit looks like Big Bird’s purple cousin.
The winner of the challenge is Christopher! No shock because his costume had the New York City skyline on it. It was very creative. Close tie between him and Dmitry.

Project Runway Season 10 Ep 9
Last week, Alicia was kicked off. It was no surprise. Her work was just eh, nothing special about
it. That’s the thing with Project Runway; you
have to be versatile in what you can create.
Your main thing might be sportswear, but you have to think out of the
box in order to win and succeed.
Today is the textiles challenge! I love this particular challenge because it’s
cool to see what they can come up with in terms of patterns. The challenge is
to create your own fabric inspired by your cultural heritage. Mondo makes a guest appearance and so does
the families of the designers.
Elena gets really emotional. Which is kinda weird? Christopher is having a hard time creating a
pattern.
Tim said Ven’s outfit looked like homage to a menstrual
cycle. Tim Gunn for the win
The families get to join the designers for the
challenge. Mondo Guerra, winner of the
season 8 HP challenge, is the guest judge along with Anya Ayong-Chee who was
the winner of season 9 HP challenge.
Elena and Fabio is safe, which is a shame cause I think
those had to be the ugliest patterns made.
Melissa, Dmitry, and Sonji are in the top.
Ven, Gunnar, and Christopher are in the bottom. All deserving, to be there.
A very boring episode if I do say so myself, until they
brought out Tim to talk about Ven. I had
to wait til the last 15 minutes for that to happen.
Dmitry is the winner of this challenge… good choice. It was between him and Sonji.
The person who was out… dang.
