The September Birchbox is a bit... um…
There is a sample of Ahava Mineral Hand Cream which is ok so far but a full bottle costs twenty dollars. I don’t know if it’s that great of a lotion for the price.
I’m actually excited to try the blinc Mascara. I want to see if it’s worth the twenty- four dollar price tag.
Incoco Nail Polish Applique… hmmm we shall see how this stuff works out on my nails. I can hardly keep a manicure straight for more than two days.
There is a sample of Jouer Lip Enhancer. I really don’t need that
The best thing in the box is the sample of the Salvatore Ferragamo Attimo L’Eau Florale perfume. It smells so wonderful and sexy.
The extra piece is the Lash Card. You use it when you are putting on your mascara so it won’t get on the eyelids. Hmmm.
There is also a friendship bracelet that’s in here. It’s actually kind of cute and I can’t wait to wear it.
Hmmm...I was looking forward to signing up for a subscription to Birchbox...but I have been hearing mixed reviews about it. I think I will wait to see what next months samples are like.
ReplyDeleteI definitely didn't love September's box, especially after all their hype about "It's our one-year anniversary!" Like, do I need a lash card? I'm pretty adept at putting on my mascara. And that bracelet broke after, like, two days. I really love the Blinc mascara, though, & plan to order a full size when this sample size runs out, so... hey, that's worth something I guess. And the Incoco nail strips stayed on for a few days. Tip: Paint over them with clear polish to secure them!
