Pop Culture Fashionista or Faux Fashionista: 3 for 1 Special!

Everyone who reads Pop Culture Fashionista knows that we love all things Tom Ford and after we heard that a Tom Ford store was opening up Beverly Hills, we had to get pics of some of the lovely ladies that showed up.

First up... Eva Longoria.
Eva the diva can do no wrong in my book. I'm usually not a fan of shiny pants with volume at the bottom, but some how Eva makes the outfit work by staying monochromatic with the all black.

Elizabeth Banks

Ok not really digging those shoes. I feel like ankle straps make short girls look even shorter.  At first when i looked at the dress, i wasnt sure if i liked it. I do like the cut out trend, but the cut outs at the waist made it look a bit hippy.  As i take a second look at this, I see that it gives her more curves.  Elizabeth makes it work

Ginnifer Goodwin

I love the jacket, just not with this outfit. I feel like its too much volume.  Ginnifer looks older, but not granny-ish this outfit. Its like she is a younger version of Bea Arthur.

what do you guys think?

Wonder Woman is back!

Remember back in the day the old Wonder Woman show with the foxy Lynda Carter? I do and like millions of other girls, I was a huge fan of watching this beautiful, confident woman save the world. There had been rumors for months that this old show was coming back to the small screen, but who could fill the fabulous gold boots of Lynda Carter? Actress Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights)  has been tapped to take on the roll in the new series. The new series will have writer David E. Kelley at the helm and director Jeffery Reiner (The Event)

Is anyone else excited about this like I am?
Will you watch?

Red Riding Hood

In the last couple of weeks, people have been visually stimulated by the previews of the latest version of a classic story, Red Riding Hood.  Red Riding Hood is the adult version of Little Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried, Julie Christie, Luke Haas, Gary Oldman and newcomer Max Irons (son of and equally as dreamy Jeremy Irons.)
Valerie (Seyfried) is a woman torn between two lovers, a man who is considered an outsider and someone who she might be forced to marry.  Valerie and one of her lovers decide to run away but are stopped by the forest that surrounds the village and is the home of the wolf. This version isn’t like your typical fairy tale and is sure to offer tons of romance and suspense. Red Riding Hood is directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who also directed the first Twilight movie.
Will you go see this movie?

Sean Penn and Wyclef Jean hug it out for Haiti

We all know about the beef between Sean Penn and Wyclef Jean, right?  Let’s recap, shall we?  Penn went on the record to criticize Jean for making a bid to become the president of Haiti in the last election. Jean was then disqualified to run for president.
Penn and Jean were both at B.B. King’s Blues Club & Grill in N.Y.C’s Time Square to see Haitian band T-Vice.  The confrontation started around 1 am and then moved to the back when the two men could talk it out.  The conversation never got heated and both were able to air out their differences. After they hugged it out, they both went on stage and stood side by side.

Prince kicks Kim Kardashian off the stage!

Prince kicks Kim Kardashian off the stage!
Monday night, Prince performed in New York City and you can imagine, every celebrity in New York was there, including reality star Kim Kardashian.  There is a part of the show where Prince pulls people on stage to dance with him in a song and one of the lucky people that he brought up was Kim.
Kim was apparently so star struck by the purple one that all she could do was stare!  Prince was having none of that a told her to “Get off my stage!”

this is awesomeness
